We are a group of walkers who enjoy going out for a nice walk. Generally, walks are in and around Montgomery or Howard County and range from 3 - 6 miles.

A group of dedicated women walkers, with or without children, with or without dogs, any age/race/etc, just briskly walking outdoors to stay healthy and fit, every day at a set location - at least 1.7 miles per day. Walk one and all and have a great time! Rain/sleet/snow - or sunshine! Usual times for walks are around 9:30am M-F and 1pm or so weekends, but check out our calendar to read the specifics and hopefully we'll see you walking with us soon!

… We will meet on the first Sunday of each month at my home in Rockville and prepare a meal for homeless men staying at the Home Builders Care Assessment Center (an emergency homeless shelter operated by Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless). This shelter houses about 60 men at a time during warm weather and around 200 men during the winter months. They have no cooking facilities in their building, so they rely on outside volunteers to cook meals in their homes and then bring them to the s …
